We were established in 2012 and we have grown over the years by investing in our staff, who are our biggest asset. We provide initial and ongoing staff training and a supportive culture. Ongoing professional training and development
We provide ongoing in-house training and external training and certificate courses provided by registered education facilitators. Once you have gained enough knowledge and experience, you will have an opportunity to complete an Australian Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP and ADFP) and become a qualified paraplanner.
You’ll be working in an English-speaking environment and gain exposure to the Australian culture. You’ll communicate with financial advisers from all across Australia on a daily basis. This is a great opportunity to improve your spoken and written English.
Business English training
You’ll have ongoing support from our in-house English teacher and regular English classes that will help you improve your spoken English and Business English writing and learn job-specific vocabulary.
Flexible working hours and remote work
Once you have shown that you are capable of working independently, you will have flexibility regarding when you work. There is also the possibility of remote work in certain situations.
Increasing annual leave entitlement
You will receive an additional day of annual leave for every 2 years of service at our company. In addition, staff in management positions receive an extra day of annual leave.

English language proficiency is extremely important at our company so testing your English is one of the first steps in our recruitment process. If you meet our requirements, we will reach out in order to assign an online English test.

Tests / Job task
If we decide to progress with your application, we will get in touch with you to assign a test followed by a job task and provide necessary details. This will be a great opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge and stand out from the crowd.
If we’re happy with your test / task results, we’ll proceed with a second interview, with 2 or 3 team members. The interview lasts about an hour. This is an in-depth exploration of your experience and qualifications. It’s also an opportunity to assess whether we are a good match for each other and whether your share the values that are intrinsic to our organisation. Please note that all are interviews are conversational aimed at getting to know each other better. Therefore, we suggest that you bring your best and truest self and show us how you’ll add value to our team.
Following the final interviews, we’ll assess and evaluate all shortlisted candidates. Should you be one of our top candidates, we’ll ask you to provide 2 references so we can complete a reference check. If we decide you are the right fit for our team, we’ll extend a job offer in writing and your journey with Abound Paraplanning may begin.
We take pride in our effective onboarding program with mentors for all new hires. We have designed a two-week training course coupled with job-specific tasks that will assist you in learning about the basics of financial planning in Australia. Our onboarding program also helps the new hires develop relationships with our team members and learn more about our culture. Our onboarding plan does not cease after completing the training course and extends for a whole year until our junior paraplanners become more independent and are able to complete tasks on their own.
